Stop violence:

TRAMPOLIEN Non-Profit Organization and Soroptimist club Hasselt, work together with the Police in the 16 days of the Orange campaign.

This year, in our police district, we recorded more than 800 reports of violence in one form or another. This ranges from fights to sexual assaults or rapes. Figures show that women are the main victims of violence. As a police district, we do not turn a blind eye to this problem. The police, therefore, support the United Nations’ Orange the World campaign. The police, together with Soroptimist International Club Hasselt, is calling for special attention to be paid to violence against women from 25 November to 10 December, Human Rights Day. During this period, you will certainly see the colour orange appear on the left and right. The ultimate goal of the campaign is to break the taboo on gender-based violence.

Did you become a victim yourself or do you have questions about violence in Belgium? Then you can always go to the number 1712 in Belgium. They offer a listening ear and give you information and advice. It is also possible to chat or e-mail via the website www.1712.be

TRAMPOLIEN wants to contribute to tackling and reducing the problems of intra-family violence and violence in relationships of trust. We want to support the women, men and children who have suffered, witnessed and suffer such violence by facilitating the provision of assistance. Through our support fund and our methodology, victims who are not financially well off can still count on quick and professional help so that they can develop the necessary resilience to get their lives back on a positive track.

TRAMPOLIEN is a unique link in the field of work of relief organizations around this problem, in the sense that it fills the gap that can arise between a situation of violence and rapid therapeutic support.

At the moment we limit the project to the South Limburg region and the Hasselt region in Belgium, but we are constantly looking for the financial means to make this project nationally connected.

So if you are happy with our PROJECT, you can always make a voluntary and non-committal donation to the account of TRAMPOLIEN with account number BE71 0017 7404 9669.
