This year again Soroptimist International of Europe has celebrated the best projects of the Federation with the Best Practice Awards 2016!

Choosing the winners was not an easy task for the Jury but, evaluating each of the projects according to a set of predetermined criteria, they managed to select the 12 winners in a fair and transparent way.

One “Project of the Year” Award and two Awards for each of the following Programme Objectives:

  •  Education
  •  Economic Empowerment
  •  Elimination of Violence Against Women and Girls
  •  Health
  •  Sustainable Environment

The announcement of the winners was greeted by warm applause from the Soroptimists during the Governors’ Meeting in Sofia (Bulgaria) 9-10 July 2016.
