The European Women’s Lobby (EWL) is holding a public event, followed by a demonstration, entitled “Loud and United” on June 8th, 2017 in Brussels, to end violence against women and girls. Iconic feminist activist Gloria Steinem will deliver a key-note speech and join the participants in taking to the streets of Brussels!
The event also commemorates the 20th anniversary of the EWL Observatory on violence against women. Experts, professionals, human rights defenders and front-line activists who make up the Observatory will share their campaigns and projects to empower women and survivors of violence will also share their stories.
