SI President Sharon Fisher personally invites you to the Soroptimist International 100th Birthday Event:
This October, Soroptimist International turns 100, and I would like to invite you all to a virtual global birthday celebration! This year we have the once in a lifetime opportunity to join together to celebrate – reflecting on our Bright Past as a Global Voice for Women whilst looking and moving forward into our Brilliant Future. We think this is something worth celebrating.
Following a difficult year for many of us around the world, we do of course wish we could meet you all in person, however, we are determined not to miss the opportunity for our membership to join together, and we will be gathering ‘virtually’ to honour our 100 years, and to deliver an unforgettable experience – creating memories to last a lifetime.
The two-day high-energy event will take place between 1-3 October 2021, and will be available in multiple time zones, with dates and times based on where you are in the world. Available in five languages: English, Chinese, French, Japanese and Korean – all materials and speaker presentations will be translated, and the event will be delivered by an experienced and highly professional production team.
Something to look forward to and the opportunity to feel connected with your Soroptimist sisters around the world, the event will feature inspiring speakers and offer opportunities for learning through topic and best practice-based discussions in breakout sessions, giving you plenty of motivation for the development of future project and advocacy work.
