The Soroptimist International of the Camino Real Region is offering a Grant of Friendship for this upcoming Spring.

Soroptimist International of the America, Camino Real Region in California, USA (with clubs in the counties of Ventura and Los Angeles) is offering a Friendship Grant to a Soroptimist member for 3 weeks to include April 17-19, 2020.

 

The English-speaking Soroptimist Friendship applicant must reside outside of the United States. The Grantee is responsible for travel expenses to and from Los Angeles, visa and immigration documentation as required, proof of medical insurance while on the grant, and items of a personal nature. Lodging, meals, hospitality, professional educational visits and travel between the host clubs will be provided by the region. The Soroptimist Grantee is expected to speak to host clubs and at the Region Conference in April, communicating information about the Grantee’s home club and region, and the service projects undertaken by both.

Deadline for the letter of application is January 15, 2020, by emailing or my mail. The letter of application (approximately one page in length) should include information about the applicant’s involvement in Soroptimist, personal and professional information, and why the applicant wishes to receive the grant.
