Soroptimist International of Europe organised its fourth Photo Competition entitled Through the Eyes of Soroptimists
All members of SIE were invited to participate in the competition by submitting photos in two categories: “Promoting education in the fields of STEM”, and “Promoting empowerment of women and girls.” Winning photos were chosen by a jury, composed of SIE Assistant Programme Director and Chair of the jury Caroline Junier, Communication Officer Christine Cromwell-Ahrens, European Women’s Lobby Representative Renate Smith Kubat and the winners of the 2016 Photo Competition Machtelt van der Straeten and Villy Makou. The winners were announced at the Governors Meeting on Friday July 14th in Florence, Italy.
