The Council of Europe will host the World Forum for Democracy 2026 on 2–3 November 2026 at the Palais de l’Europe in Strasbourg.
Bringing together participants and perspectives from around the world, the Forum provides a space to discuss some of the most pressing challenges facing democracies and democratic institutions today.
This year’s edition will focus on “democratic foresight”: looking beyond adaptation to explore how democracies can better anticipate emerging trends, identify future risks and opportunities, and work collectively to prepare for the challenges ahead.
The Forum is open to anyone interested in engaging with these discussions and seeing democracy in action.
