Dr Edit Schlaffer is a German sociologist and founder of Women without Borders (WwB). She is a pioneer in advancing women as architects of inclusive security and works to empower women through education, collaboration, confidence-building and leadership.
Her groundbreaking MotherSchools model equips mothers in communities affected by radicalisation and violent extremism to recognise early warning signs and become active agents of prevention, resilience and peacebuilding.
