Norwegian Education Fund 2026-2027

The Education Foundation of the Soroptimist International Union of Norway was established in 1985. The fund supports women’s education in developing countries. The foundation aims to financially assist women’s education and training, prioritising those lacking resources.

Applications require recommendations from Soroptimist clubs (SIAF or SIE).

Clubs in eligible countries are invited to apply for the academic year 2026/2027.

Since 1990 the fund has assigned 1535 scholarships, here represented by President Yvette Derason of SI Toliara, Madagascar, and agricultural student Farida Ahamada .
