Tribute to Suzanne Noël

Dear Presidents of SI and SIE, Dear Soroptimist Friends,

As part of the commemoration of the Great War 1914-1918, THE SOROPTIMIST FRENCH UNION  wishes to honor its founder, Suzanne Noël. An exceptional woman, who treated wounded soldiers of the face, and founded the International Women’s Movement “Soroptimist” in France, Europe and Asia. She also founded the European Federation of Soroptimist International, of which she was the first President.

A COMMEMORATIVE PLAQUE, will be affixed on the facade of the ‘Champ de Mars’ building in Paris where lived Suzanne NOËL during the last fifteen years of her life.

The Unveiling Ceremony of this plaque will take place on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at 5 pm sharp, at 36 avenue Charles Floquet 75007 Paris.
