Soroptimist International of Europe organized its fifth Photo Competition entitled Through the Eyes of Soroptimists and all members of SIE were invited to participate!
The topic of the fifth SIE Photo Competition 2018 – Through the Eyes of Soroptimists – was: WE STAND UP FOR WOMEN!
Winning photos were chosen by a jury, composed of Inge Withof, SIE Assistant Programme Directo and Chair of the Jury; Christine Cromwell-Ahrens, SIE Communication Officer; Caroline Junier, SIE Assistant Programme Director 2015-2017; Bintou Diané Konaté, SI Bamako Espoir, Mali, Winner of the Photo competition 2017; and Valentina Kubale Dvojmoc, SI Celje, Slovenia, Winner of the Photo competition 2017. The winners of the 2018 Photo Competition were announced at the Governors’ Meeting in Lucerne on May 27th, 2018. The prizes were awarded for the following top photos:
1st Prize
“Workload” by Marie-Louise Eberle (SI Liechtenstein, Liechtenstein)
2nd Prize
“Stop violence” by Katalin Karolyne Varga (SI Szombathely, Hungary)
3rd Prize
“Discover yourself” by Sinem Giray Toma (SI Eliter/Istanbul, Turkey)
