This is why advocacy is the engine of our strategy for 2026–2031. It connects support, awareness, action, membership, and communication into structural change.
We are operating in a rapidly changing world. Women are stepping into leadership while facing resistance and setbacks in rights. Acting locally is no longer enough. We must be more visible and influential—together.
For years, we have supported women. Now we move from support to systemic influence, by shaping decisions and ensuring women’s voices matter where it counts. SIE strategy 2026-2031 is built on five pillars:
- Advocacy
- Awareness
- Action
- Membership
- Communication
Advocacy gives direction to all of them and lives in our daily engagement.
Being the voice for women means creating space for women to speak for themselves and be heard in decision-making. Real change begins when women have influence.
In the coming years, we will strengthen women’s participation in public life, their presence in policy spaces, and build a strong movement across Europe.
The next two years will make this shift real, through training, mentoring, engagement, visibility, and partnerships. This is not only capacity building. It is building influence—together.
To support this process, meetings with Union Presidents and clubs are taking place to bring the strategy closer to members and ensure dialogue. The first roll-out began with a session for the Polish Union on 20 April, followed by the first joint meeting on 27 April. The next, at the end of May, will focus on questions from clubs, ensuring shared ownership.
This is how strategy becomes reality: when it is lived across all levels of our movement. It is in local conversations and member engagement that strategy becomes action, and action becomes influence.
Let us return to the woman from the beginning. Where will she be in a few years?
Exactly where she wants to be: speaking, deciding, and shaping the world.
Because we are not only the voice for women. We are a community that ensures this voice becomes influence and creates real change.
Let us move forward with confidence, ready to #beTHEvoiceForWomensRights.
