What is your vision for serving on the SIE Board 2026-2027?
For me it’s a way and a chance to support women and girls.
What is your vision for a better world?
In a better world, all women and girls can live self-determined lives. One step in this direction is to provide them with adequate education so that they can be financially independent. Every contribution to education counts.
What do you do to stay motivated in your work?
When a door closes, another one always opens. Never give up.
What is your country doing to support and empower women?
Currently in Switzerland, there is a vote on individual taxation, which, among other things, is intended to promote women’s participation in the workforce and thus also financial independence.
Tell us about your Soroptimist club! What projects are you most proud of?
We are currently supporting the training of a young woman to become a nurse in Nepal.
